piano chord
F♯aug
F♯1A♯3C𝄪♯5
Two major thirds stacked. Symmetrical: every note can be heard as the root.
Written the other way round it is G♭aug — the same twelve keys on a piano, a different piece of notation.
What is true of it
F♯aug is F♯, A♯ and C𝄪 — 1, 3 and #5 counted from F♯.
C𝄪 is a double sharp, and it has to be: every letter from F♯ upwards is used once, so the #5 cannot be written any other way.
